Draft Analysis: (RD1-3) First, the "of course" pick, Joe Burrow. He had a stellar year at LSU posting 5,671 yds and 60 TD on almost 80% completion rating. Though it was just one year of solid production, he has shown the prerequisite skills to be a franchise QB at the next level. Its a no brainer at #1.

The next thing is to protect your newest signal caller, and why not grab his former blindside protector Saahdiq Charles. Charles is a big man (6'4" 295lbs.), and it shows on the field. His ability to open holes in the run game, and anchor down against power rushers will be a major asset Zac Taylor's offense. Collin Johnson the big target out of Texas will provide another big play target alongside Boyd. his redzone efficiency is what will make him a great pick-up for a redzone ace in Burrow.
(RD4-7)This is where the draft gets interesting. The Detroit Lions trade up to get ahead of Washington, then trades that pick to Cincy along with their 6th rounder (182)!

Cincy uses that pick to take Shaq Quarterman out of Miami! His sideline to sideline pursuit and IQ make him a dangerous asset to any defense. His lack of versatility in coverage is what drops him this far. Kennedy out of Tennessee and Ben Cleveland can be major contributors early. Both are great interior pass blockers with good punch. The only thing is the talent ahead of them on the depth chart, Cleveland will most likely be able to compete early for a starting spot.
Green and Garvin round out these picks. Both serve as future producers for a good young defense! Green reminds you of a young Jonathan Joseph, great instincts and man-to-man coverage skills. Garvin is a pass rush specialist who needs to develop his power off the edge, but as far as speed rushing goes he is one of the best in this draft.
